Pretèar - Princess of Leafenia
The world of Leafenia is explored following Pretèar Himeno. Weeks after her battle with Takako (the former Princess of Disaster and also a former Pretèar), Himeno is coming to terms with no longer being Pretèar for Leafenia. Her dreams are invaded by Night Shade, a servant of the Master of Shadows which leaves her lost and depressed. When Himeno begins to cut away contact with the Leaf Knights, Night Shade captures her in a vulnerable state. He uses her as a hostage in order to enrage the Leaf Knights and Defeat them. Himeno discovers new powers and is able to free herself to help protect the Knights and defeat Night Shade. Her new powers are explained by a canine character known as Wolfgang. He tells Himeno about her mother and unravels a past she knew nothing about. With Himeno's newly found knowledge, she trains to become a protector of Leafenia but during her training she is captured by servants of the Master of Shadows. Himeno is then told she must fight in order to stay alive. She defeats the first opponent but is then faced with a new opponent where the story ends with a confrontation between Himeno and the Princess of Shadows.
The spin-off shows Author, Epiphany05, has a good concept of the world in which the story takes place. It was an enjoyable read and I could find myself following the story. I did however find a problem with the structure as I found myself annoyed in which direction the story was being lead. Epiphany05 would often indicate a direction with the story and jump elsewhere by using too much information in the wrong places. This lead to some confusion at times. Otherwise I found the spin-off interesting. As was indicated this still seems to be a work in progress.

Cardcaptors - Cosmic Chronicles
It has been years since Cardcaptor Sakura held the Clow Cards but now they have been scattered over America and called Sakura Cards. Lawrence Maxwell Cathers, better known as Max, a 14 year old boy. He comes across some of the cards one day which respond to him as he is able to unlock their magical power. This meaning he has magic within him also prior to finding the cards he has dreams about them. Max meets Apollo guardian of the cards who bestows on him the role of cardcaptor to help collect them. Apollo tells Max about a dark wizard whole tried to take the cards and the battle which lead to the current predicament. Max then encounters another card and captures it with the help of Apollo
Only one chapter has been written so far but the structure of the story seems to follow that of Cardcaptor Sakura. There are many similarities within characters, such the similarities between Kero and Apollo. Though Apollo and Kero are different in gender the physical form’s the take are much the same. Also, characters such as Max's older sister seem to be very similar to Sakura’s older brother, as the two older siblings call them squirts. I found that Cardcaptors - Cosmic Chronicles was a little bit more explicit and personalised by the author but even so it felt like a remake of the original story instead of something a bit more developed.
Chobits - I am a robot
Before Elda became Chi, She was an intelligent, Knowledgeable, self learning Persocom (Robot Computer). This Fanfic is a poem that tells of her older sister, Freya and the journey of her life. The poem narrates from Freya’s point of view and the feelings and conflicts she felt within herself. She describes her love for her family and the special relationship she shared with each member. It ends with her farewells before she and her sister Elda merge to share a robotic body, waiting for someone to find and love them both.
The poem was a sweet sentiment to Freya and the story of Chobits. I like the use of the original script which was taken from the story “The town with no people”. This was a story within the Anime itself. I did find that there was repetition and that it emphasised the position of the character. Though repetition was used well it could have been used more effectively e.g. “I am a robot” could have been less frequently.
